SUMMARY:Budgeting Through Change: Building a Budget that can Adapt
DESCRIPTION:Budgeting Through Change is a two-part workshop that helps small- and mid-sized nonprofits build budgets that are flexible\, resilient\, and responsive to change. Through foundational learning\, real-world case studies\, and hands-on exercises\, participants will learn how to develop sound budget assumptions\, assess financial risks\, and create contingency plans for common challenges such as funding changes and rising costs. Participants will leave with practical tools they can use to strengthen and communicate about their organization’s financial planning and decision-making. \nPart One: Building a Budget that can Adapt will be presented via zoom on Wednesday\, October 14th from noon-2pm. \nYou can register for Part One only or for both parts of the workshop. Part Two expands on the concepts introduced in Part One and focuses on applying them through hands-on activities. Part Two’s Contingency Budgeting will be presented in person at the Sudbury Foundation on 10/28 from 9am-1pm. \nThis 2 part workshop will be facilitated by Gregg Grenier\, founder of GG Nonprofit Consulting\, a local nonprofit finance and budgeting expert.
