SUMMARY:Leadership Acceleration Program Information Session
DESCRIPTION:Leadership Acceleration Program (LAP) Information Session\nAre you an executive director looking to strengthen your leadership while advancing an important organizational priority? \nJoin us for a virtual information session to learn about Nonprofit Net’s Leadership Acceleration Program (LAP)—a free\, nine-month leadership development program for executive directors of Greater Boston nonprofits. \nLAP is designed differently than traditional leadership programs. Participants apply new ideas in real time while working on a significant organizational initiative\, supported by dedicated executive coaching and a trusted peer cohort. \nDuring this session\, Margo Kelly\, Executive Coach and Program Director\, along with past participants\, will share their experiences and explain how the program helps leaders: \n– Advance a Key Initiative – Make meaningful progress on an important organizational challenge with expert guidance.\n– Grow as a Leader – Build practical leadership skills through one-on-one executive coaching.\n– Strengthen Your Network – Join a supportive cohort of nonprofit executive directors who learn from and encourage one another. \nThe program is open to 8–10 executive directors\, runs for nine months\, and is offered at no cost to selected participants. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis\, and space is limited. \nAbout the Presenter\nMargo Kelly is Program Director and Executive Coach for the Leadership Acceleration Program. She previously served as Lead Executive Coach for Harvard Kennedy School’s Achieving Excellence Program\, a 16-month leadership program for nonprofit CEOs and senior executives. A Nonprofit Net board member since 2022\, Margo has led numerous programs on nonprofit leadership\, executive management\, and human resources. \nPrior to her work at Harvard\, Margo was Chief Operating Officer of NeighborWorks America\, a national nonprofit community development organization.
