SUMMARY:Consultation: AI Policies for Nonprofits
DESCRIPTION:Artificial Intelligence (AI) is already impacting businesses\, nonprofits\, and other institutions. AI will enhance\, and change\, the way we work and how we consume and use information. It’s important that nonprofit organizations of all sizes prepare for AI and develop policies and procedures for how to use it\, and how to prevent its misuse. We look forward to working with nonprofits on this important and exciting topic! \nJoin us for a one-hour workshop\, followed by a private consultation with volunteer attorneys for interested nonprofits. Consultation openings are limited; let us know if you’d like to participate. \nThis is a two-part program:\n– 10 AM-11 AM: One-hour workshop on AI Policies (open to all Massachusetts nonprofits)\n– 11 AM-12 PM: Private consultation with volunteer attorneys (for a limited number of Massachusetts nonprofits) \nDuring the consultation\, volunteer attorneys will review how key aspects of an AI Policy would apply to your nonprofit and provide a sample form. Eligible organizations may request a referral through Lawyers Clearinghouse to follow up on legal issues. \nAny Massachusetts nonprofit may register to attend the workshop. Officers\, board members\, executive directors\, and senior managers of Massachusetts nonprofit corporations are welcome to register for the workshop and private consultation.
